I will cause riots, protest and do anything to make that not happen (obviously my actions wouldn’t matter). No shade, but Beyonce is a robot, and naturally in my opinion she does not exude any power, motivation, consciousness, or even a persona to play a role of a strong, black woman.
There’s too many actresses that could play this part without any awkwardness in front of the camera or without any forced “accents” or changes of vocal style to deplete the Life and Movements of Angela Davis: Jada Pinkett Smith, Zoa Saldana, Thandie Newton, Mystic (rapper) and tons of no-named actresses.
They put a wig on Beyonce for an Austin Powers movie and she has a role.
